Bay Area Church Summer Camp Shirts: Small Icons, Year on the Sleeve

Ordering 50 Team T-Shirts? Get the Details Right First.

A Bay Area church came to us for about 50 Team T-shirts for their summer camp.

They chose Comfort Colors for its soft, comfortable feel. The design was simple: a few small icons on the front and the camp year on the sleeve—just enough to make the shirts feel personal and easy to identify later.

But with kids, youth, adults, and volunteers all on the same order, the real challenge wasn’t the design.

It was getting the details right.

Before placing the order, we helped confirm the shirt color, print locations, quantities, and individual sizes. Youth and Adult sizes were listed separately, so everyone could choose the size that actually fit them.

We also reviewed the artwork together. Small, multi-color graphics can look different on a screen than they do when printed, so the online preview is used to confirm placement—not to promise an exact printed color. The final artwork is approved by both sides before we print.

For churches that qualify for Tax Exemption, we also make sure the required information is submitted properly.

And timing matters. For a June summer camp, we recommend finalizing the artwork about 5 weeks ahead. Waiting until May to make major changes can turn a simple order into a last-minute rush.
